Leading experts in planning and design are set to come together to discuss the future of Portsmouth’s urban landscape this month and National Regional Property Group will be right at the centre of the action.
Managing director Allan Gordon will form a part of the panel at the inaugural University of Portsmouth Industry and Alumni Breakfast, which takes place at the Emirates Spinnaker Tower on Thursday, May 12.
Allan will be joined by: Wayne Hemingway MBE; Leader of Portsmouth City Council Cllr Donna Jones; Professor Graham Galbraith, Vice-Chancellor of the university; and Carole Damper, CEO of the Roberts Centre.
Together they will explore Portsmouth’s urban transformation from a dockyard city to a knowledge based city and look at what needs to be done to unleash the hidden potential of collaboration between industry, local government and world-class research expertise at the city’s University.
Allan, also chairman of Shaping Portsmouth Developers Group, said: “It’s a privilege to be a part of the panel of leaders and experts who are as passionate about the future of Portsmouth as I am. The city has come a long way in the last 20 years and it’s exciting to think what it could look like in another two decades. Events like this are vital in bringing the public and private sector together to drive ideas and change.”
