National Regional Property Group has reinforced its commitment to excellence in design by stepping on board as a sponsor of the Solent Design Awards 2016.
Led by the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire (PUSH), the awards showcase the very best in architectural excellence across the region. Previous winners have included The Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth and the St Alphege Building at the University of Winchester.
This year’s awards scheme, which is set to launch the spring, is expected to attract scores of entries from architects, designers, local authorities and contractors. The ceremony will be held at a prestigious venue in the region in November.
Shaun Adams, of National Regional Property Group, said: “We are passionate about raising the bar for architectural design and placemaking so this sponsorship is the perfect association for us. We’re looking forward to seeing the entries in this year’s awards and, based on what we’ve seen going on in the region over the last two years, we believe there will be some very strong contenders.”
The Solent Design Awards take place every two years and feature a number of different categories, including the ‘Quality Places’ and ‘Urban Design’ awards. Every year a people’s choice winner is voted on by the public.
