Regeneration conference is a key event for the Solent region

June 5, 2018: The South’s biggest conference on regeneration is taking place tomorrow, 6th June and National Regional Property Group will be at the centre of the action.

Regenerate South Conference, taking place at Lakeside North Harbour in Portsmouth is an annual event that brings together investors, developers, agents and consultants to debate the ambitions for the Solent region.

As a business that’s leading the way for exciting regeneration projects in the South, National Regional Property Group will be at the event and sharing best practice with its peers.

Allan Gordon, managing director, said: “As a firm we specialise in sustainable regeneration so Regenerate South is an important date in our calendar every year. Work on our Bow Square development, which is redeveloping Southampton’s former fruit and vegetable market, has really steamed ahead at pace so we’re looking forward to updating delegates on that. We’re also keen to hear from both public and private sector attendees about the opportunities and challenges they’re seeing on the ground.”

The conference is organised by Business South, which leads the Regen South Working Group of which National Regional Property Group is involved. Allan Gordon was previously the chairman of the group and has been instrumental in its work over recent years.

Top of the agenda at 2018’s event will be how to better shape the vision for the Solent region. The conference will explore ways in which collaboration can be more effective to sustain the prosperity of the region for the benefit of the business community and the people who live and work in the South.

Leigh-Sara Timberlake from Business South said: “The event will be a fantastic opportunity for potential investors and developers to discover what’s on offer in the Central South Region, with Business South working in partnership with a private sector led consortium to promote the key development sites in the region. Those attending will have the opportunity to meet with inward investment teams from across the region too.”
